Truck Pull World Record
Sunday 12th July 2009 was a sunshine and showers day. Come 3pm when I was about to attempt the lorry pull the rain had started making the course a little slippery. The course was set for 100ft, I started to pull the lorries but unfortunately slipped over, I got straight back to my feet and started to talk myself back into pulling mode. I managed to pull the 2 lorries combined weight of 60 tons for a total of 42.7 feet. This I feel was a pretty good for my first attempt. I felt really pleased with this as I did not realise I had pulled them quite as far after falling over. This is not the end of this story, I will be back next year to try this world record again. I would like to thank Tony & James Bale for all your help and support, without this i would not be able to have attempted this.
I would also like to thank Jason for Bale and all the drivers that were involved in this world record attempt. ![]() |
